Whistleblowers in the Intelligence Community dare to expose corruption, only to face a rigged system that silences their truth. Protections are a cruel mirage, leaving heroes betrayed by the very institutions they seek to reform.
While U.S. laws nominally protect Intelligence Community whistleblowers from retaliation, these protections are weak, poorly enforced, and lack meaningful Congressional oversight or accountability. Congress has no way to enforce these laws, and these Intelligence Community agencies fail to enforce these protections. This is a proven fact.
Another way of describing blowing the whistle is with a simple term—TRUTH-TELLING. I told superiors the truth, and the rest was a heap of troubles piled upon more troubles.
