Pedro Israel Orta is a Miami-born son of Cuban exiles who fled the tyranny of Fidel Castro’s communism. His grand-uncle endured 20 years as a political prisoner in a Cuban jail. He spent 14 years in Miami’s Cuban-American professional business community, earning accolades for exceptional service in the perishable commodities sector.
Mr. Orta served in the 18.5 years in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), with significant time in war torn regions such as Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Middle East, as well as an inspector in the Office of the Inspector General for the Intelligence Community. Before joining the CIA, Orta served in the U.S. Army, earning an honorable discharge.
Mr. Orta earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and International Relations from Florida International University, graduating summa cum laude, and a Master of Arts degree in Security Policy Studies from George Washington University, specializing in Defense Policy, Transnational Security Issues, and Political Psychology.

In May 2023, he earned a diploma from Rhema Bible Training College’s year-long Itinerant Minister program. A licensed minister with the Evangelical Church Alliance since 1991, he was ordained by Buddy and Pat Harrison with Faith Christian Fellowship in 1994 and by CfaN in 2021. Mr. Orta has a life-long heritage of faith in Jesus Christ, at age four he encountered the Gospel of Jesus Christ during a Morris Cerullo evangelistic event at the Miami Auditorium. He accepted Christ as his Savior early in life and grew up in a Spanish Assemblies of God Pentecostal Church in Miami. Mr. Orta’s faith has been shaped, molded, and influenced by ministers such as Michael Koulianos, Bill Johnson, Kenneth E. Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, and Keith Moore.
He calls Tulsa, Oklahoma, home and dedicates his time to writing, filmmaking, speaking, Christian ministry, photography, and advocating for integrity, honor, and respect in government and society.
