Post US Government service, Mr. Orta moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has launched an evangelistic and teaching ministry. Mr. Orta is currently working on writing a few books about his experiences as a US Government whistleblower and has been featured in some internet news articles and broadcasts on these matters.

Mr. Orta is a native of Miami, Florida, the son of Cuban immigrants who fled Communist Cuba with one grand-uncle who served time in a Cuban jail as a political prisoner. Mr. Orta was raised in a strong conservative Cuban family environment of integrity, honor, and hard work. Mr. Orta spent 14 years working in the Cuban-American Miami business world, where he distinguished himself with awards and superior service to his customers.

Mr. Orta was first exposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ at age of four years in a Morris Cerullo Evangelistic campaign in the Miami Auditorium. Mr. Orta received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and grew up attending a Spanish Assemblies of God Pentecostal Church in Miami. Mr. Orta has been a licensed minister with the Evangelical Church Alliance since 1991 and is rooted in the Word of God trained with teachings by ministers such as Kenneth E. Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, and Keith Moore. On 12 June 1994, Dr. Doyle “Buddy” and Pat Harrison with Faith Christian Fellowship (FCF), ordained Mr. Orta as an FCF minister. Most recently, Mr. Orta is a June 2021 graduate of the Christ for all Nations (CfaN) Evangelism Bootcamp and served in the Mbeya, Tanzania Decapolis Crusade. Mr. Orta is an ordained minister through CfaN.  

Mr. Orta is a December 1999 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Florida International University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree double major in Political Science and International Relations. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Orta moved to the Washington, DC area and worked for the US Government for 19 years. Mr. Orta earned a Master of Arts in Security Policy Studies from the George Washington University in May 2002. Mr. Orta served about seven years in conflict zones such as Iraq, Afghanistan, and Yemen. Earning eight Exceptional Performance Awards for his contributions to US National Security. Mr. Orta served from 2015 to 2017 as an Inspector for the Office of the Inspector General for the Intelligence Community.
