🚨 THIS CLIP TELLS YOU EXACTLY WHAT THE BROKEN WHISTLE IS ABOUT

It ultimately comes down to one question:

DOES THE LAW MATTER?

I did not begin by trying to fight an institution. At every juncture, I tried to work within the system—raise concerns, protect officers, address problems through management, escalate when necessary, and ultimately turn to the oversight mechanisms established by law.

I kept going up the chain because that is what you are supposed to do.

But what happens when you reach the top—and the protections Congress created for whistleblowers are not being enforced?

That is where The Broken Whistle begins to mean something far bigger than my personal story.

There was never a point where I could simply say, “This has cost me too much. I quit.”

Because quitting would have meant abandoning the very principle at stake: that government officials are accountable to the law, that wrongdoing must be reported, and that those who tell the truth through lawful channels cannot simply be crushed by the machinery they are trying to hold accountable.

I could lose a position.
I could lose a career.
I could lose almost everything I had worked for.

But I could not surrender the truth.

That is why I kept going.

That is why I wrote The Broken Whistle.

And that is why, after all these years, I still have not quit.

🇺🇸 A whistleblower protection system that exists only on paper is not protection. The law has to mean something.
