Obituary: The Constitutional Republic of the United States of America
The Constitutional Republic of the United States has died. Born in 1787 with the ratification of the Constitution, it succumbed to the slow erosion of checks and balances, the rise of the Imperial Presidency, and blind partisan loyalty over constitutional duty. Thomas Massie’s recent primary defeat serves as the final nail in the coffin — a symbol of a system where independent constitutional voices are no longer welcome. A Republic, if we can keep it… we could not.
